about

Boomkat Review:

Classically rooted Neo-Detroit electro from Mick Welch, initiating the Elektrosouls Recordings with a Stephen Hitchell-mastered set of machine rhythms. Welch certainly knows his B12, Black Dog, Juan Atkins and Kenny Larkin tracks, as he neatly approximates a style in between each of his predecessors with crisp and robustly robotic rhythms alloyed to piquant synthlines benefitting from Hitchell's mastering clarity.
